Avatara Local is a London food truck created by two friends with more than three years of experience in hospitality. We started with a simple idea: food should be genuinely delicious, satisfying, and something that fuels you.
Our menu brings together protein-packed bowls, wraps, and pitas with a bold Indian-inspired twist. We combine the convenience of British street food with the warmth and flavour of Indian home cooking, bold, welcoming, and never overwhelming.
We’re not a big chain. We’re two people building something of our own, one stop at a time. From our regular local spot to events and festivals across London, our goal is to become a familiar and trusted part of the communities we serve.

We want to bring our Indian-inspired street food to more neighbourhoods, events, and festivals across the city while staying true to the values that started our journey. As we grow, we want Avatara Local to become a brand that people recognise, enjoy, and return to for bold flavour, quality, and consistency. Our goal is to become a loved part of London’s food scene, building genuine connections with the communities we serve and creating a food experience that brings our two influences together on one plate.
The Story Behind Avatara Local
We’re two friends who have spent more than three years working in hospitality. During that time, we saw what people loved about food, what brought them back for more, and also what was often missing from food-on-the-go.
At some point, we started asking ourselves a simple question: why not create something of our own?That question was the beginning of Avatara Local.
For us, food is more than just something to grab when you’re hungry. It should taste good, feel good, and give you something back. That’s why we wanted to create food that brings together bold, satisfying flavours with ingredients that help you feel nourished and fuelled.
We’re not trying to overcomplicate food. We simply want to make everyday meals more exciting, fresh, and enjoyable.From our bowls and wraps to our pitas, everything we serve comes from that idea that food can be comforting and delicious while still being something your body will thank you for.
